Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website — including with a screen reader, keyboard, magnification or reduced vision. The site is built to target WCAG 2.2 level AA and the requirements of the European Accessibility Act.

Semantic HTML with a correct heading hierarchy, landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a "skip to content" link as the first element on the page.

Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators, alt text on images, clear labels and error messages on the contact form, and tap targets of at least 44×44 px.

Colour contrast meets the AA requirement, and the site follows the system preference for light or dark theme as well as reduced motion.

A few older article images have descriptive but brief alt text. We improve these as content is updated.
